Copper Metallising

Copper coated films are available upon request.We are also examining the possibility of stripe and print metallising copper for a number of applications.A striking mirror finish can be obtained on thicker glossier films.

Zinc Sulphide

Zinc Sulphide can be coated onto a number of films.Zinc Sulphide is a high refractive index coating when applied in the clear form to a holographic film,enhances the hologram.Usually the Holographic film is metallised with Aluminium to ehance the holographic image.With Zinc Sulphide coated holgrams,additional tamper proof measures can be applied underneath the coating that can then be viewed through it.

Oxide Coated Films

Oxide coating trials were carried out in collaboration with the Franhouffer Institute of Packaging.

We were able to coat polyester film with Silicon Oxide with minor modifications to the standard metallising process.Although not currently a standard product, should sufficient commercial interest be shown it would be possible to produce SiOx coated Pet on our current machines.
